How do I get involved as a maker?
Just fill in the enquiry form with your details and tell us which produce you’d like to make. We’ll then confirm the cost of the P&P pack – tags, jars, bags, nutritional labels, ribbon, recipes etc. and have them sent out to you on receipt of payment.
What does it cost?
| P&P pack* | 24 | 40 | 80 |
| Jam jars, nutritional labels, recipes, legalities, ribbon, brand tags, wax discs, cloth circles, sticky labels, rubber bands… | £35.00 | £58.50 | £110.50 |
| Granola bags, nutritional labels, recipes, legalities, ribbon, brand tags … | £15.00 | £20.25 | £36.50 |
All hints ‘n’ tips come free of charge as standard – we love chatting with our P&P community.
If I choose to sell my produce do I have to send a margin back to P&P?
No – nothing at all. If you choose to sell within your local community you keep 100% of the profits.
How does P&P make money?
Through the branding and a small margin on the packs.
Does my kitchen need to be registered with the local council?
If you are planning to sell the jam commercially we recommend you get in touch with your local council and register your kitchen. It’s as easy as jumping on your local authority site or making a phone call. This just means the council can come and check your hygiene standards if they wish to. Of course we recommend top hygiene in kitchens at all times.
Do I have to include the nutritional information?
Again, if you’re planning on selling it then yes. Nutritional information labels are written to the recipes and included as part of the P&P pack which makes it a pretty simple process.
How do you ensure quality control?
There is no central quality control. We do insist that all produce is organic to comply with our branding and ethos but we get to know our makers and we know they’re a pretty diligent lot. Each item us prepared with love and like any human relationship different batches on different days can have their ups and downs – but that’s part of the gorgeousness.
Please do ask any further questions through our enquiry form – and if they’re asked frequently enough we’ll publish the answers here.
